It's far to risky ... People die in it on a regular basis ... No way any of the FS would even consider it an option without a direct order from the DO


I didn't say they'd use it....

Don't forget ter'angreal aren't mythical gizmos to the Chosen... it's just technology. It's quite possible Cyndane in particular would know how this ter'angreal work and how to alter its programming.

Some really weird things happened to Aviendha (Nakomi not the least...), and it's not possible to discount for now they were the Shadow's work, not when the future Aviendha saw basically told them following Rand meant their doom.

If it's the Shadow's work, it basically misjudged the possibility Aviendha's response could be to bring the Aiel to stop being warriors... We know this is a possibility, but few of the characters, Shadow included, would even consider this.
