Perhaps if you spent a minute thinking of the question instead of how to best make yourself sound more intelligent you would realize that Shadow prophesy and corrupted Light prophesy are very different things.
There is no PROOF of corruption! Only ONE character's speculation, and that a military officer, rather than any philosopher, theologian or other sort of professional scholar who might have expertise. The Seanchan are clearly working off the same general Prophesies of the Dragon with certain key elements changed.
What elements? Which ones? Citations? NOT Shadow prophesy. No one is questioning the veracity of the Shadow prophesy. The question is which Light Prophesy has been altered in order to make for conflict.
There is no proof that EITHER has been altered. The Seanchan are designed to be a repulsive society. Slavery and an oppressive caste system are hardly meant to engender warm and fuzzy feelings. Unless of course you are a sociopath.
Who says it is oppressive? Or a caste system? There are slaves, commoners, and nobles and only degrees among the first and last. As for the system, there is no proof of oppression, only a remarkably popular monarchy, a people who have widespread freedoms, nobles who are remarkably constrained in their ability to abuse their authority (Suroth is unable to discipline her vassal ruler's servants, for example), and evidently a loyal populace that is trusted to colonize foreign lands. The military officers are embarrassed about discriminating between troops from Seanchan and locals. Oppressive regimes with competent militaries have officers who pay lip service to policies, but among themselves look askance at ideas that interfere with practical matters of that nature. Oppressive regimes keep their subjects under lock and key and don't let them freely settle in newly conquered lands. Oppressive regimes do not allow newly conquered people to swear a cursory oath, travel at will and keep weapons. As for slavery, it has been a constant for 99% of human history. There has never been a year when slavery was not practiced, there is no continent on which slavery was not practiced at some point within the last 200 years, and there is not a single race that has not practiced slavery on a large scale or has not been enslaved on a large scale. Condemning a regime simply for the practice of slavery is absurd. Your own namesake ruled over a slave state. To call a state repulsive for the practice of slavery is to condemn the British Empire, the United States of America, the Roman Republic & Empire, Babylon, Egypt, Athens and numerous advanced Islamic & Asian states. Our entire culture is inherited from slave states. It's an ugly institution, but part of human nature. It's lack from most of a continent for at least a millennium is one of the more fantastic aspects of WoT, up there with the universal language.
It may be that there are damane with greater control of the Foretelling Talent ... We've seen at least one who seems to be able to call them up on demand ... But that is NOT the same as the Omens that Tuon and Selucia follow ... These seem more like folklore on the surface, counting ants, owls hooting and such ...
I never said there was any prognostication in them, just that since RJ said the damane are better at Foretelling, the concept is more commonplace and such things are given more credence. That comes from RJ himself, I didn't just pull it out of my ass, like some people here. But could well be more akin to what the Two Rivers Wisdoms do to fake the ability to Listen to the Wind. These are not in any way linked to the Power, but may have legitimate sill ... Even though we know when something doesn't happen according to the Omen people assume the individual read it wrong. Tuon says as much when she says "Selucia must have counted the ants wrong".
And because there are a lot more instances of genuine fortunes coming true, they give more credence to other things as well.
