no point in arguing this further ... you have your agenda to prove and I just don't care about it. Lanfear is not as strong in the OP as Rand, she is as Effective. This is a very different thing. I don't actually care about your theories on strength, they don't make sense in any way to me, as clearly mine do not to you.
Of course Rand can hold more of the OP than Lanfear, but Lanfear is more deft with her weaving - thus you can equate the two. When Egwene judges Rand's strength she judges his effective strength. It's not like she linked with him and measured.
Who said Graendal v. M&C was a duel? She was simply willing to face them and was confident in her skill ... even knowing Cyndane was stronger than her.
And the alternative is standing there and dying.
You cannot prove any more than I can that Flinn drew all of the power of his circle. We have one brief second to see what is going on ... the rest is left to our imagination.
True, but I'd be interested to see who would be arrogant enough to use a part of their ability against the FS. Daigian didn't.
Cadsuane's commentary is typical of the STUPID AS hierarchy. Naturally she thinks Strength is the most important thing, she's an AS ... the author has pointed out through pretty much every other character in the series how flawed and silly this is.
Okay then...

The Mean and SD are set by Daigian's position. Your options are therefore not possible...

Yet you have many more SD between the Mean and Lanfear than you do Morgase and the Mean

I absolutely agree. The lower side of the curve MUST be intersected by zero after 1 SD...

I am not convinced Moiraine is the Mean. Merely 50% of Lanfear

But on a Bell Curve the Mean IS 50% of Lanfear. You've just disproven your own contention.

I agree with that. But please honestly look at the math I presented. It disproves the Bell Curve.
