without her anyway?

My memory of the books isn't as great as yours, but how many of the alternative futures ends well for Rand?

If I were Rand, I might have preferred some of those alternate lives to the one he has now.

Which one of those ends in Rand winning/shadow losing?
I can safely say this because we have been told the great paradox: "If the Dark One breaks free in one world, he will be free in all of them, but as long as he is imprisoned in at least one world, he is imprisoned in them all."

Sure, Rand repeatedly heard a voice proclaim "I have won again Lews Therin," but even he recognized that it was a lie. We know that the shadow cannot have won in any of those other worlds because it is still fighting for a victory in the "real" world.
