Because Elaida is just going to give them Travelling. They don't even know to ask for Travelling considering no one knows the Aes Sedai know it. They were there to capture marath'damane and they failed utterly - they even had some of their damane captured.


...don't have my book w/ me, and I don't recall the exact wording, but I thought it was made pretty clear that the Seanchan A) know about traveling and are desperate to learn the weave B) know the AS know how to travel C) are also desperate to learn the "bomb" weave (their misguided assumption about Elayne's unraveling experience) and D) Were willing to lose bascially everyone involved in the raid provided they got someone who knew the traveling weave.

Every channeler captured will be questioned thouroughly about traveling and the "bomb"....and one such as Elaida will be broken and the weave will be learned. They succeeded. Unless you think Elaida is so strong of will that she will be able to hold that back?
