On Cyndane, I asked specifically if she was on the list that was higher than Nynaeve and he said no and went on to describe her as a very weak channeler - very explicitly. This doesn't make much sense to me either and I hope we get it clarified. What this may indicate is that she is shielded in some way similar to the way Asmodean was, but at the cleansing, the shield was lessened or released so she could fight effectively.


And yes, the list he refers to is for women. From Dom at 13th Depository, it's likely that the 6 women ahead of Nynaeve are Alivia, Lanfear/Cyndane, Graendal, Sharina, Talaan and Someryn. With Semirhage just below her - he was pretty sure just not certain. And he stressed that Nynaeve and Semi are very close in strength. He was much more certain that Mesaana is lower than Nynaeve in strength - I didn't ask about Moghedien because it was pretty clear before now that she's lower. It's no real suprise that he doesn't have this info on the tip of his fingers - it really is a pretty minor detail among all that he needs to be keeping strait.
