I agree with the repulsion-theory, but I think that is even more proof that a percentage will be lost, not a set amount.
I mean, what sets the amount?
I mean, what sets the amount?
The amount of saidin or saidin required to create the conduit I assume.
Its like saying when you fix a broken pipe, it will always transport 1 liter of water less. Makes no sense.
But it does if the pipes are all the same. There's no proof that stronger channelers have a bigger connection to the Source - if they did I find it hard to believe that Nynaeve could fix something as vast as Logain's, considering she is probably weaker than him. It's likely all channelers have the same connection, and it merely needs to be re-established.
But if 10 units are removed from a woman of strength 5, she won't be able to channel even after the Healing!
As for Morgase, by my method, she'll still be able to channel, though even more rarely. By yours, she'll remain stilled, which makes no sense.

But why? Maybe the weakest channelers have such a small affinity for the Power that once they're destroyed, it's all over. Siuan is much weaker than she was - imagine if that happened to Sorilea or Morgase : they'd be less than negligible, and barely fit for the title of Healed.

I'm betting she decides to stay a non-channeler and put her past behind her. *NM*

I don't think Moiraine was stilled.

I think that since Moiraine was in another dimension, the Bond passed to the closest holder.

that assumes quite a bit about the structure of the bond

Moiraine will make a huge difference to TG (Min's viewing) so I think she will need to channel. *NM*
