Did anyone else react with surprise to Egwene's strong reaction to a 4th oath of fealty, when she herself extracted a similar oath (albeit not on the oath rod) from Theodrin, Faolain, and others?


First , Faolain and Theodrin gave an oath by their own will . The rest six Sisters swown to Egwene al'Vere , not to Amyrlin Seat as some Nobles do their Seniors .
It's a very big difference from what Elaida planned ( every single Aes Sedai sworn to Amyrlin )
