because it's going to disappoint. The only way his character isn't a disappointment is if he survives the Last Battle, which won't happen. He's just going to be another failure. He'll probably kill 200,000 people but they won't be anyone we'll have ever heard of and he won't think he's accomplished anything by it either, because Rand won't be one of them.
