Yes, he's very stupid. He doesn't pay attention to LTT's ranting enough sometimes.

The only thing he could do, IMHO, is EXACTLY what Egwene and Elayne did when he threatened them - hold as much of the Power as he could, and only meet one or two at a time. I would have used the angreal, too.

Also, I would have the Wise Ones and Maidens in the room, but I forget exactly why he didn't want them at that meeting.
