Did Cadsuane actually get any secrets from Semirhage during her breakdown? Shannow Send a noteboard - 12/01/2010 01:38:04 PM
Did she obtain any news on the other Forsaken? Demandred's plans? Anything?

If not, I find the justification for Semirhage's breakdown and humiliation from a plot perspective even more unconvincing.

It's purpose was supposedly for the Light to gain vital information from her. But in the end, it seems her aura as the ultimate Forsaken badass was destroyed for no plot purpose whatsoever.

She could still have captured Rand with the adam if she had just escaped from captivity without being broken by Cadsuane.

So other than meet RJ's need for "Bad Guy Humiliation", the destruction of her reputation was for nothing.

I don't think Cadsuane learned anything from Semirhage... - 12/01/2010 02:09:26 PM 856 Views
Of course it was necessary to the plot. It's why Shaitan sacrificed Semirhage. *NM* - 12/01/2010 04:28:10 PM 328 Views
Doubt that Rand's TP use was intended - 12/01/2010 04:44:12 PM 693 Views
It seems very reasonable that the DO would give Rand access to the TP - 12/01/2010 05:22:17 PM 716 Views
i thought BSand said that the DO wasn't aware ... am I making that up? *NM* - 12/01/2010 05:24:26 PM 302 Views

A rescue attempt at SG seems pretty difficult, though. And Min would be dead. - 13/01/2010 08:09:33 AM 643 Views
