aside from Moghedien we have nothing telling us that the others aren't very close to her... the very fact that Graendal was ready to openly attack her and that Semirhage openly hated her speaks against Lanfear being more than a little stronger.

If you need her to be that strong I'm not going to argue the point. Personally I don't think she's all that much above the others.
