He is not most guys huh? Yeah I know two guys who wouldn't be particularly into that kind of thing. Just be honest with him and don't lead him on. Maybe he was just doing what he thought would be expected of him. Either way, just tell him you want to hang outhim casually.

Emphasize having a fun time with him but not ONLY with him. Of course, saying "I just want to be friends" almost NEVER works because if the guy likes you a lot he'll just think "I can convince her!"
