I mean, at the point where the rumour starts going around that Sirius has betrayed the Potters and killed Pettigrew and those Muggles, why doesn't Hagrid go "hang on... that makes no sense considering how he reacted when he lent me his motorcycle?". For that matter, why don't the Aurors wonder why a supposedly fleeing and hiding Death Eater meets with Hagrid to lend him his motorcycle, and I think even a second time to get it back?
