And this goes for the third task as well: why even have spectators? I think JK Rowling really kind of dropped the ball on this point. I think for the 2nd task she could have at least come up with something where the spectators can actually see what's going on. This always bugged me...
People would want to be there and know the results and all, but it must be quite boring to just sit there and not see anything happening.
