Yes. It's one of his more complex and rewarding novels.

I am constructing a course on Dickens, and so started wondering what I could expect people to have read. I would therefore be very happy if you could reply even if you haven't read anything.
Have you read any Dickens?
All but his travel stories.
What have you read?
See above. All his novels, novellas, and short fiction.
Have you heard of any (other) Dickens novels?
Well, yes, I think

Why have you not read them?
I haven't? Oh, well like I said above, there's the non-fiction travelogues still to be read.
What is your perception of Dickens?
One of my favorite mid-19th century English writers. Oh, and one of the forerunners of naturalist fiction, despite the picturesque characters.
Have you seen any film/series versions of Dickens' novels?
A few. A Christmas Carol, Great Expectations are what come to mind first.
Pick one word that you connect with Dickens. What is it?
Humane.
Illusions fall like the husk of a fruit, one after another, and the fruit is experience. - Narrator, Sylvie
Je suis méchant.
Je suis méchant.
