And that the bleeding was the return of her womb quickening (or regaining the potential to quicken), that still leaves Dany bearing a living child. And her bearing a living child is just a step of the prophecy, not its culmination. Mirri Maz Duur said that speaking about Drogo and when he would return to his former self... And Dany killed him. So it no longer matters anyway, because he can never return now. And Drogon can't take his place, at least not yet, not even symbolically, because the prophecy hasn't been fully fulfilled yet.


...either I'm misunderstanding what it means to say a womb will quicken, or somebody else is. Possibly GRRM. :P
