A physics bachelor's can also get you hired for financial analysis or something similar; about 1/3 of the physics majors at my school go that route, I think.
Finally, many people get a physics bachelor's and then get a masters in something else, like Electrical Engineering. This is a great way to be employed without having to take a bunch of useless general engineering classes as an undergrad.

wife had a job she didn't want to leave so i stayed put. the best opportunity for me would have been fermilab, but they didn't have anything for a BS in physics.
