It had to lose its status or you'd have to memorize several more planets Isaac Send a noteboard - 15/06/2010 08:57:20 AM
It's not like it's 8 real planets and left out little pluto. There's Eris, Ceres, Huamea, Makemake, and ten more candidates currently known in our solar system. Like Ixion, Orcus, Sedna, Huya, Quaoar, and so on. So it was drop Pluto or add in those, because they've got the same qualifications as pluto has.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.

Yet, when determining the measure for what a planet is, Pluto vanished from the list! - 15/06/2010 07:14:28 AM 505 Views
right, but it's still out there in the same orbit with the same momentum and positioning - 15/06/2010 08:45:43 AM 605 Views
