It is based mostly on the exerience of a woman who self selected men that were inclined to cheat. Of course all the men she met were like this since they were all men who had responded to her ad. This would be like forming an opinion about women based on women you met on Craigs list "escort" section.

That being said yes almost all men want to have sex with as many women as possible but must of can control if we choose.
