I think that even having a simple sexual appreciation when looking at another woman isn't cheating. There's a certain biology to it. ;)

Imagining himself in bed with her would be a totally different matter.


I'm honestly curious here and have had this conversation with several female friends that have said something similar.

The first was a coworker that was convinced her long distance fiancé wasn't peeking at naughty things on the internet (when she wasn't there of course). They saw each other about 1 time a month and that was all he needed. They were 23, fresh out of school at the time.

My argument at the time was, who cares if he looks at something and gets his rocks off when you're not around? He's not intent on finding these ladies so that he can actually do anything with them. Just fantasizing since he couldn't be with her. I'm sure he wouldn't care if she did something similar. Better than going out with "real" women, strip clubs, etc.

To me it boils down to the intent. Is it just a fantasy that's not taking away from the real relationship? Well, alright. Is it something repetitive, getting in the way of that person’s actual relationship, which they intend to carry out physically? Not good.
