Hey, there's a name I recognize, "Iron Lisa" Isaac Send a noteboard - 30/11/2010 09:25:01 AM
- Felisa Wolfe-Simon, NASA astrobiology research fellow, U.S. Geological Survey, Menlo Park, Calif.

Standing joke, her website is ironlisa.com, "Fe=Iron" and all, Iron Lisa. Oceanographer IIRC.

Should be interesting but 'interesting' probably in the 'recent models predict abnormal amino acids content of high-water celestial bodies may be detectable in atmospheric traces which may be observable via telescope' sort of way, I'd be disinclined to think any solid evidence of ET, even little bacteria, will actually show up and that it will be very important new info but to the lay public about as important as the wonderful new development on spin ice or such, I'd love to be wrong but I'd advise everyone to keep their hopes (or fears) down.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
