You claimed that some law enforcement agency would step in if implied threats were made against a congressman. I pointed out that again you are wrong and gave you an example to prove it. You try and change the subject.

If so, implied or not, I highly recommend reporting it to the Secret Service, FBI and/or AT LEAST the DC police; about the only way you could prove your argument is if they all say, "stop overreacting, we're not going to waste our time with that". My bet is they'd say, "we'll check it out... " because it would be a PR nightmare if they didn't and something like this happened. Such threats are dangerous and have no legal free speech protection (IIRC such threats against ANYONE are actually a crime in themselves). If it's just "I know people at Kos do it all the time, even though I can't recall any examples, so accept my objective unbiased view of it" that means very little. Frankly, I think a lot of folks at Kos quite capable of it and that's one of many reasons I have nothing to do with them. That's more an argument such threats from them SHOULD be investigated by SOMEONE rather than ignored, but you aren't going to prove the latter is what happened because you can't prove a negative and I'm won't ask you to try.
