Well. Sareitha Sedai Send a noteboard - 21/12/2011 01:49:36 PM
If I made predictions all the time, confirmation bias might have a role to play. However, in the 3 years I've been on Facebook I've only made one statement like this one, and by searching the full history of my Wall I can prove it.

Furthermore, in my lifetime I've only had a limited number of dreams that I have woken from with the understanding that the dream had meaning and was predictive. I have written them all down and they have come true within a short space of time or have repeated several times and then come true within a short period of time after the last instance. In no case has it been more than 6 months (in the case of repeated dreams).

Confirmation bias has nothing to do with any of it.

There's at least one of these dreams that you claim to have forgotten until it came true. One wonders how many more you've had, then, that you forgot and weren't reminded of because they didn't come true.

If you are from Betelgeuse, please have one of your Earth friends read what I've written before you respond. Or try concentrating harder.

"The trophy problem has become extreme."

For atheism to be a tenable position, one must assume that millions lie about their experiences. - 20/12/2011 04:11:53 AM 1018 Views
