For example, in Jens' post you could have talked about why you think showering before is more important. You could have agreed with him and started talking about showering before and after sex.

In my post, we could have launched into a discussion about when laughter is appropriate vs. not appropriate.

It just strikes me that you were either looking for approval, or to argue. You don't seem very prepared for an actual discussion :P
