Which went a little far, even though they had no good reason to call out DK like that, either.
I'll just copy and paste what I said to Stephen right above: don't sit there and clutch your pearls and pretend like a "fuck you" wasn't in order when someone tried to inject a little levity into the site, but only got condescending snark in response.

I agree that some answers DK got were condescending but he didn't do the best job defending himself either. That's not the point, though.
Even within heated discussions there are different ways to argue with someone than "Fuck you". With a few more insults like those we're gonna have to lock the thread, which would be sad, because I agree that this post tried nothing else than add some spice even if it was a little clumsily phrased.
