Obama was a supporter of partial birth abortion which the majority of the country opposes.
Most of the coverage I have heard about is just repeating how much trouble it is causing Romney since he doesn't want to talk about the issue at all and then they link it to Ryan and his position on abortion. Always seems odd when the press blames a candidate because the press want to talk about something, that act like it they have no control over what they cover and it is the candidate driving the story. The other thing I keep seeing is the outrage that Ryan, along with most of the republicans and some of the democrats, signed a bill using the phrase forcible rape and the shock that anyone would think there is any other type. Seems odd that none either no one knows or are willing to admit that American law does have a category of none forced rape. There is a heavy double standard when it comes to fringe social positions of the right compared to fringe social issues of the left. The press made a bigger deal out of Romney meeting with a birther than they did with Obama hiring a truther.
It is nice to hear NPR is doing a more balanced job. I think they have marked slant to the left but I do believe they try to give both sides. I may be taking a new job next month that will require a long commute so they will once again be my primary news source. That and I will double my salary

That is second on my list of things I remember about him, probably down to third now.

Disliking the conclusion doesn't invalidate the logic, and stop veering out of the debate boundary

No, the logics invalidity does that, though you do not seem to like its conclusion either.
