I think he has a good point.  It just shouldn't be generalized so far as he is doing.

				It would be dishonest not to admit that sometimes we get tired of being on the defensive and attack back with more verbal cruelty than is necessary.  But I don't think it is generally characteristic of the gay rights movement, nor of the terms Narg has picked out.
And it certainly isn't a valid defense of being against gay marriage anymore than calling someone a bigot (however accurately the term might be applied) is a valid defense of being for gay marriage.
