i'd say pissing off the single industry that employs pretty much everyone who works for a living in michigan can hardly be described as a great thing.
Tend to do foolish things. And when they do, they can be held responsible for their activities. If these people don't show up to work, they get to be no longer employeed. In a state where unemployment is so high, I'm guessing there are those out there who would take the work.
