SS does not make money it is a Tax program that taxes the working to pay the retired. Great scheme as long as you have enough workers but it really is nothing more than another spending program with its own special tax. The fact that the fed has been over taxing us on with that tax to make up for revenue shortages doesn’t make it a good thing.
