The Dems have a plan. And the GOP have been doing everything but throwing their bodies in front of it for decades.

The model of this entire time you are gloating so joyously over is liberals trying things and conservatives trying to sabotage the liberals. We aren't the status quo. The status quo is the poverty level preceding the war on poverty, with poor people quietly unseen and heard, just as the conservatives want them to be.

The model has been for conservatives to crow: "You have to give us a new plan, yours isn't working!" It isn't working because there is a strong group in this country vested in the success of only a select few, and in keeping the poor poor.

Unlike you, we have a plan. A plan that you have been sabotaging. Luckily, as the last few elections have shown, your ability to do so is slipping. Maybe the new plan is to stop trying to mollycoddle conservatives along, leave you in the dust, and actually make something other than the 1950's in this country.
