It's all about prospects and hard work. Palatine Send a noteboard - 24/04/2013 03:16:56 PM

If you feel that all the hard work you do here will absolutely get you nowhere, then maybe that hard work will improve your life there. That's pretty much why anyone ventures anywhere away from what they've always known. Sure, there are other reasons for going, like adventure or glory, but that's the main one.

Oh, and to answer your question: I would not go as a settler.

I know. It really perplexes me that so many people are so down on it. - 24/04/2013 07:19:42 PM 1299 Views
I am not gonna lie - 24/04/2013 08:24:57 AM 1196 Views

What's the problem, technically? - 24/04/2013 07:24:22 PM 1201 Views
Basically? Mass and redundancy - 24/04/2013 10:40:30 PM 1225 Views
The mass is what I wondered about. - 24/04/2013 11:03:36 PM 1216 Views
Fuel costs are linear to mass, total costs are probably less - 25/04/2013 12:20:55 AM 1113 Views
To put this in perspective, adding to Issac's points - 25/04/2013 01:50:38 AM 1148 Views
That's not really a fair comparison. - 25/04/2013 08:18:35 PM 1196 Views

I agree with your points, but you've still only listed financial (not technical) problems. - 25/04/2013 08:22:25 PM 1215 Views
Finacial problems are technical problems - 25/04/2013 10:19:17 PM 1149 Views
Maybe we just have different definitions. - 26/04/2013 09:25:33 PM 1238 Views

Well that would be a bad idea, but... - 27/04/2013 03:29:47 PM 1305 Views

I wouldn't go like that. - 24/04/2013 05:15:09 PM 1207 Views
No, but I wouldn't mind sending a few people there - 25/04/2013 01:52:56 AM 1178 Views
Not with that. - 25/04/2013 07:32:40 PM 1142 Views
