Opposing policy isn't terrorism, you know that, but you said it anyway making you look like an angry ass, and one who long ago burned up his normal accepted margin of angry rant that people shrug off as 'bad mood'. You, through your own remarks, with very little assistance from me or others, made yourself come off like a petulant whiny hyper-partisan. You've made it worse by not owning up to it and even worse by getting more insulting. Hence I don't need to rebut you, wouldn't serve any point, I couldn't make you look more of an ass that you did all on your own anyway.

I'm actually kind of helping you here since I'm clearly gloating and spiking the football you were kind enough to run to your own 1-yard line and fumble. But then I've always been very open about being an evil bastard who feeds on others frustration. Which I'm doing now, I'm absolutely relishing your tooth-grinding, jaw-gnashing inability to do the right thing here and just say "I shouldn't have said what I did, republicans are not terrorists, it was over the top and I apologize"

"peaceful protest" would be the 42 and counting votes to end Obamacare, despite it going into effect today and being so wildly popular that the website healthcare.gov is having connectivity issues. stopping the federal government apparatus unless certain political demands are met is, and always will be, a terroristic tactic. if a group like the FARC or hamas were to find a way to shut down the governments of their respective countries unless their demands were met we would name it such. why should republicans get a free pass for using the same methods?

between the shutdown and the debt ceiling threats, there is a very real possibility that i have to worry about my job security for the first time in about 8 years. don't tell me i need to "do the right thing here" because you can't separate yourself from the misguided tactics of your party. it only takes 17 republicans to end this absurdity, assuming john boehner can bring himself to submit a bill that will actually pass the Senate. but instead the House has decided that it's their #1 mission to do whatever they can to make Obama look bad rather than solve the problems of our nation in a rational way. yes, you can bet that i'm incredibly angry at this situation, and even moreso if you're going to gloat that you finally got your government shutdown you've always wanted. tell me again how i should be grateful to republicans for putting me out of work?
