The things I can think of him posting off-hand recently aside from his dismissal of the abortion issue, are ad hominem attacks on the supporters of one of the few Republican candidates to actually address the immigration issue (someone tell St. Ronald of Reagan about this violation of the 11th Commandment), being pro-immigration in the ensuing discussion, and an article, with which he seemed to wholeheartedly agree, idealizing the practice of drunken fornication.
Whatever his position on the budget or crime, this guy is no social conservative, unless every grandfather who is somewhat hesitant about disrupting a fundamental institution of society to provide special perks for sodomitical concubines now counts as Robert Taft.
