I don't hate her, and I think most liberals love her.

Frankly, I'm beginning to think nominating her in 2012 is Obamas only hope of reelection, so be my guest.
Using a teleprompter because you can't consciously recall every word of a 20 minute speech is a far cry from writing, "taxes, energy, spirit" on your hand so you don't forget the values you supposedly represent. See, I managed to do twice in about the same time she spoke without having to look at my hand once. Of course, I don't have a pregnant teenage daughter whose ex was talking to Playgirl about a centerfold, and I'm not stumping for a Governor who tries to force a six month old HPV vaccine on every schoolgirl in the state and thinks taxpayers should pay to build roads as well as every time they drive them. I probably wouldn't promote myself as cutting taxes and promoting Christian family values if I did either, but IF I took that approach I might need a reminder of what I supposedly believe.
As for Andy Reid, he may be a "fool" but I haven't worried about his intellect much since he stopped coaching the Eagles.
Personally, it's statements like that I think form a lot of her "populist conservative" appeal; the Baptist minister and former Governor of Arkansas is a lot more consistent in his support of the values he claims to support, but he actually knows how to talk policy rather than throw out lines about how he's from "the REAL America. " I could probably live with him as President because I actually trust him not to do things as mercenary as I expect of the woman who bashed Obama and Biden for pork after she sent Congress letters begging them to send Wasilla pork.
This isn't about her values, no, it's about the fact she has trouble remembering what they're supposed to be (not to mention expressing them effectively. ) She preaches to the choir, but if that's who you want in 2012, again, I have nothing more to say than "THANK YOU!!!"
I tend to speak quickly and sometimes customer had trouble understanding me so I put a not on my monitor to remind me to speak slower. I had to look at the note and actually see it for it to do me any good but reading it did help me focus on speaking slower while the rest of brain was focused on explaining complex tech issues to customers.
She has key points she wants to stay focused on, she puts the notes there to help her focus on those points not because she can't remember them. You should be well aware how hard it is stay on focus when discussing issues and I think it is safe to assume she was using this as tool to help her with focus. Unlike say Obama and his teleprompter that spoon feeds his words to him or Biden who just says any stupid crap that pops into his head.
I know the disdain and hatred for Palin runs at an emotional level for liberals so arguing facts really won't change anyone opinions but liberals really are coming out looking small minded and petty and they do nothing but make her more popular with these over the top rationalizations they use to justify that hatred. She is a conservative women who has a large populist appeal get over it. If you want to worry about low intelligence driving the political argument focus closer to home and worry about the low grade moron in the VP position or people like Michel Moore and that fool Andy Reid. Worry about the fact that great communicator liberals thought they had found seems to be tone deaf and out of touch with mainstream. Palin is not the reason liberals are falling on their face.
