and any christian or other religious person who says "oh well, it's dedicated to their God!!" better not ever eat a Kosher hot dog :P (unless their Jewish) Or you know...forget that Islam is an Abramic faith too.

It's just meat that's been raised and slaughtered in a particular method. It's not like it's going POISON THE NONBELIEVER RAAAAAGH.


Perhaps it's more expensive? It seems like it would be, but I don't know. Obtaining halal meat HAS to be more expensive for McDonald's than using the mass-produced meat found in all their other gazillions of restaurants. I'd be pissed if the only McDonald's I could readily/easily access started charging more for their burgers to cater to some other group (for whatever reason) and when I complained the answer was, "well you can still get fish!"

It also seems to me that for McDonald's the only reason not to continue to offer both kinds of burgers is that they can earn more money on the halal burgers and want to force the choice.
