Delivering pizzas is one of the most dangerous jobs out there for the regular person, I could be mugged and killed at any time. I risk my life to bring your food.

I...wow. I am glad I live in a country where a pizza delivery person would never have to say such a thing.


It's really sort of a neighborhood/regional thing. The worse an area (crime-wise), the more likely you are to be accosted by an opportunist who knows you drive around alone with money. For example, the town I lived in when I did delivery had never had such an instance except for the one guy who faked his own mugging because he wanted to steal the change-out cash he was carrying.


all money into a lock box at work. We arent allowed on the road with more that 15 dollars to our name. the most we could have written off for a mugging is the 15 dollar change bank we have and the cost of the order... Sucks a lot. Luckily my area is fairly safe, it has its low end zones though...


Yeah, this guy had just dropped off a big order and was carrying more cash than he normally would have been. Which is why he came back claiming he was mugged, thinking he could keep the money.
