I was criticised recently by a patient for not offering homeopathic options when treating his assorted long term ailments. I have a fairly healthy degree of cynicism in my soul (having spent my formative years cultivating every ounce of cyn I could get my hands on), but my annual appraisal is due soon and I have to prove that I make an effort to continue to expand my knowledge and indeed, act upon the wishes of my patients.
