One group of people who have never used the US system don't like. So what? I would say this is more the influence of the media then anything else.

In other words, they have a basis for comparison you (and I) utterly lack. I do know of one exception; Norway apparently has no private health insurance, not because it's illegal, but because no one wants to buy it. Those poor suffering SOBs....
