It very clearly isn't. While some of those people may have exhibited hermaphrodism at birth and were incorrectly assigned (in which case the "transition" is really just correcting an error committed shortly after birth), the rates are extremely high.

Yes, but what I am continually trying to tell you is that the rates are even higher when transition does not occur.

I'm not married to the idea of transition. It seems to be what psychiatry indicates is best. If evidence emerges that therapy alone instead of therapy plus transition results in better outcomes, I'll support therapy by itself. I'm unaware of any such evidence.
