What you're saying here is rather like making fun of a combat vet because he asked you not to set off fireworks near his house. People who have been raped can have intensely traumatic reactions to suddenly encountering that sort of situation, even in text. Yes, they feel hurt and/or threatened by it. I understand that you think safe spaces and the like are ridiculous, but I don't think acknowledging that a victim can continue to suffer after being raped is particularly extreme. And I'm a little disappointed that you treat that sort of trauma so cavalierly by acting as though it's a small and silly thing that people should brush off.
