But, what about the "CH" sound? You'd need a new letter for that. I am for only using "C" where is needed in combo with another letter. "S" and "K" are fine for representing the sounds that "C" alone makes. Also, every soft "G" should be replaced with "J" and "PH" with "F". And superfluous letters. The word "GIRAFFE" is a perfect example. It should be spelled "JIRAF".

only way to properly represent it in non-greek origin words would be with a letter representing CH (Russian has one) or keeping the C in the language. Neither solution is elegant.
