Great production value. Superior music.
I think that they need to be careful of being too complex for complexity's sake. Instead, write a story and go from there, but that's me.

I think that the best character is Maeve. I'm not a Doloris fan, and Bernard is ok. As for the whole point of the park, I can see why they went through all of "secret" projects, but can't we just have fun anymore?

My favorite character would be Maeve but then again I have a half a dozen favorite characters in Westworld.

So I still love and root for a part of Dolores, the "farm-girl" Dolores who as a prime drive could see the Beauty and the Ugly in this absurd world but she focuses on the Beauty.

Wyatt is different, he has a similar cornerstone almost identical but he sees the ugliness in this world when he sees both the Beauty and the Ugliness. Links to S2E1 clip

Now S2 Dolores is not Wyatt or Farmer Girl, she is a sublimination of both and also other things to form a new gestalt. I personally find this sublimation to alternate between 1) Boring and 2) Tragic in a way that is didactic (intended to teach what not to do.)

Thus I was so thrilled when we had a Dolores Flashback episode in S2E2 for it was a fun to watch Evan Rachel Woods to do scenes with joy in them, with wonder, with awe. I hope we see either more of ERW doing such scenes again in the future timeline or in flashbacks, or I hope we have other actors / actresses that can capture such joy in their facial movements, their dialogues, their existential acting at in the moment where you can just FEEL what the actress is conveying.
