And also, be real; the media is gonna blast him because they dislike him. Trump is absolutely wrong about the media being an enemy of the American people, but they're absolutely an enemy of him.

Media loves controversy, they do not love Trump specifically nor does the media hate Trump specifically. They instead love how he breaks things and thus everyone gets angry, aka this Weekly Standard article about The Red Hen.

Put another way Trump is a hurricane, he is a war zone, he is a person who makes the day to day life seem like a catastrophe and provides very easy B-Roll which you can film and the B-Roll seems salient even if its nonsense.
