Some of my above comments really should say Putin specifically and not Russia in general, but since Putin controls so much of Russia's government and other sources of power outside the government that sometimes I am susceptible to just saying Russia as a mental shorthand.

Note this can be said pretty much for all people and things we consider the Other it is not a thing unique to myself but it is a human cognitive flaw. How many times do you oversimplify and say Liberal X when you really mean specific individuals that may be Liberal?
