You think building a 20 billion dollar boondongle that will hardly stop illegal immigration is a reasonable giveaway for allowing residents to stay on because they didn't commit a crime when they crossed the border as kids?

The thing with requiring SSNs to work in exchange for letting the Dreamers stay... that would be a reasonable compromise, maybe. I still think it would be economic disaster in the long run, but at least it isn't an outright multibillion dollar expenditure on something that absolutely will not work.


Was it their fault they committed a crime? No, it was their parents' fault. But they still committed that crime.
