I understand what you are saying The Shrike, but we are getting technical here.

The legal difference between Assent vs Consent is a big deal when we are talking minors (sometimes this is called Affirmation vs Consent.)


They have no Right to be here. Whether they were old enough to consent to the trip, or young enough that their wishes were inconsequential to that of the parents, they have no right to be here.
