I know GOT followed the books reasonably well but if you look at some others like The Magicians it is barley recognizable as the same story and but the third season it had abandoned the book story line all together. Event some main characters were so drastically changes that it would hard to identify them without the name. The Expanse stayed closer to that but they still changed the story a lot and expanded some characters and modified others.

I have no idea how well the will follow the book but a scene by scene recreation is very unlikely.
