Intentional bald-faced lies:
- claiming China pays for the cost of his tariffs, rather than American companies and consumers
- claiming there were a million illegal votes in California in the 2016 election and that California admitted to that
- claiming the Obama administration 'begged' North Korea for meetings

In regards to the tariffs...taken at face value...Maybe a lie? This is far more a mater of perspective, seeing as how China pays in other ways. I don't know much about the whole situation to say, but I could very much see it as me saying that my friend paid for dinner. He didn't provide money, I did. But instead, he paid for some other things, and we called it square. As per the illegal votes...I work with the Registrar of Voters. I know for a fact that illegal votes were cast. Does it add up to millions across the state? I'd guess no. As for the monolithic "California admitted to that"...don't know what to say. And then for the last one "begged". Define begged. The Obama admin could say that they asked if N.Korea wanted to talk. Trump admin sees that as begging. Is that a lie?

Random nonsense because he can't be bothered and isn't remotely interested in the actual facts:
- claiming the UK is the biggest trade partner of the US
- claiming there has 'never been, ever before, an administration that is so open and transparent'
- attacking the Federal Reserve and saying they 'don't have a clue'

- attacking the Federal Reserve and saying they 'don't have a clue'
So in these examples, you are doing what the liberal media does. You are taking something he is saying in real time and equating his showmanship and hyperbole as strictly facts. You do realize that he isn't speaking in this way, yes? This is much akin to me saying "I hate bland food." Hate is a strong word. The word that would be more accurate would be "dislike" or maybe even the phrase "avoid if I can". Instead, I said hate. Now if you stated that my policy is hatred towards bland food and those who make it...you now sound like the media. Up there....that is what you are doing.

Absurd boasts without the least credibility or basis in fact:
- insulting Theresa May and pretending he could've gotten a so much better deal from the European Union

So boasts and statements without credibility or basis in fact....because Trump has the corner on that market? Keep in perspective that he is a very rich man...and a powerful business man. And he was this before becoming President. I'm sure in your professional life you've come across individuals like this. Do you see them acting totally different? Steve Jobs...Elon Musk...any number of big/known individual. They all spout off on topics both inside and outside of their field. Don't hold him to a different standard than you do anyone else, just because he has a certain job/title.

The sheer number of his lies, if you look at any website keeping track of them, is staggering, though that's partially because there are some he just endlessly keeps repeating, like the one about who actually pays his import tariffs.

And why in God's Holy Name would I even want to go and look at/see that website? Do you not think that such a place would have an ax to grind, and that everything that they post is colored with their own slant?

That's nice for you, but when discussing incidents abroad like this one, matters of foreign policy that have an impact on global politics and the global economy, it goes without saying that the opinion of foreigners - whether individuals or governments - is kind of relevant.

Relevant, sure. Will it change what/how I think on a topic? No. Does my President's popularity outside the US change what I think of him? No. Frankly, I like how this President is constantly saying "America First". Why? Because he is my President, not yours. Not the world's. He should be looking out for my interests first and foremost. If there is a way for there to be a win-win scenario, then by all means, take it. At the same time, if a country is getting financial aid from us, then on the public stage, they can at the very least, not badmouth us to our face. They can keep quiet. This isn't "buying their vote in the UN" or "buying their silence." They can still feel/decide how they wish, but they can do so without the attitude and the public display. It is best to not bite the hand that feeds you.

How is this even about the media? It's about the credibility of governments, not the media.

It's not 'blatant anti-Trump bias' to point out he's gone above and beyond to ruin his credibility.
