And I'm not too interested in the n-th argument about the slant of 'the media' honestly, other than Politico since the article in question is from there.

Though that said, I actually would be interested in hearing suggestions from you on American media sources, not necessarily major ones, which you feel are neutral or centre-right but less biased than 'the media' which you complain about.

The inability of people on the left to accept that the vast majority of the media is left leaning just demonstrates why having a balanced media so important. I despise Trump on a personal level and I found Politico to be heavily biased before he ran for office. There articles have an overwhelming pro-left slant. Can you name a single journalist there with a right leaning slant? There a plenty that lean left you would think a balanced source would have some that lean right as well.

Rich Lowry, the editor of National Review, is a weekly columnist for Politico and his articles are usually prominently featured. Other conservatives such as Matt Latimer are also featured regularly. And if Republican senators or representatives or members of the administration feel like publishing an op-ed, Politico is one of their obvious options, I remember for instance one by Mitch McConnell a while back.

Those are all op-ed writers or opinion columnists, but then I totally disagree with your premise that their news articles (as opposed to the opinion pieces from left-wing columnists or contributors) have an 'overwhelming pro-left slant'.
